Another set of glitches!

It's been almost a year since I uploaded the first glitch art asset pack (which can be found here: GLITCH). So I figured I should go through my files and find some fun messy glitches I've used since then. With that, this pack isn't specifically designed for game design or graphic design like the other one. The other pack had seamless textures, square images, and relatively useful sizes.

This one's kind of a grab bag.

So... what's in it then?

Styles used: 

There was only 2 techniques used to make the images within this pack. the first being: 

Datamoshing  

Datamoshing is purposefully corrupting how videos compression  stores data.  Compressed videos contain i-frames and p-frames. I-frames store info on what the pixels in an image are, whereas p-frames are comprised of where pixels from an i-frame need to move to.

If the p-frames become corrupted, or if the i-frames get removed, the pixels onscreen will move in some really fun ways. such as:












Even though this was the main thing I wanted in the pack. I couldn't help but think that y'all would enjoy the other technique I threw in.

Physical glitch:

So what do I mean by physical glitch? Well, I started with an old 1999 book on the internet (funded by CNN and boy does it have some doomsday Y2K fearmongering in it.). I loved the y2k aesthetic I was getting from it so I decided to scan the pages and keep them forever, because, y'know, the internet isn't going to randomly go away some day. But, my hand slipped when scanning them! Why didn't I have the top shield down while scanning? oh Because I broke it off and jammed the latch so the scanner always thinks it's down of course. And let me tell ya. The results were cool:










So there we have it! 83 images of glitches for you to use however you want.
