Deep in the depths of cyberspace lurks fowl entities our human minds can't comprehend. Beings formed from data and information, amalgamations of digital consciousness. What would these Cyber Demons look like? Crystalline? Geometric? Flashes of light?

Well I can tell you what they sound like. They sound like this SFX pack.

This SFX pack has some of the strangest and most haunting sounds I've created, perfect for a cyberspace or digital setting. The sounds are organized to the best of my abilities and are labeled in what way I would use them. Idle, movement (which I assume would be flying), attacking, damage & death. There's also some rouge sound types in there.

As always my work is free of copyright and here to promote creativity and productivity. But if you make anything with these please let me know, I want to support what comes from this!

What did you use to make these? I love how they sound...

even though I uploaded this in 2021 I think I made these between 2016-2018. It's been a while so I may not remember how exactly I made them lol. But I know I used audacity for all of them. I had a couple plug-ins for bitcrushing but other than that it was mostly the effects audacity comes with.

I think what I used for effects would be; echo, delay, reverb, phaser, paulstretch, and then bitcrush. I played around a lot with reversing and speed changes too. Most of the time it was slowing something down, layering it with itself, playing with effects, reversing or slicing it up, all sorts of experimenting.

As for sampling? I honestly think it was mostly Windows and Apple sound effects that I played with. There might be a couple odd noises I randomly recorded or played with on a synth but yeah, mostly Windows sound effects I liked.

actually I lied lmao. Listening to these again, only the flying sound effects were windows noises.

The voices are text to speech. and then most are random sounds that just got delayed and slows to hell and back. This is when I was heavily experimenting with glitchy noises. So It'd make a lot of weird, glitchy, harsh noise sounds and then try to calm them down with reverb and delay. I tried to get a lot of ambient sounds out of glitches.

I do have a bandcamp where I play with some really weird sounds there!
